It’s not that easy, grief is a long process. The victorians knew this and practiced it for no less than a year by wearing black every single day. It is honorable to mourn our loved ones, may they not be forgotten. This heart may symbolize the loss of a husband, or one whose heart has broken in two. It is heartbreakingly painful to suffer loss and I wish we as a society recognized this and were there for each other more than we are.
