These adorable lockets open on the side. They are double sided glass lockets with one side faceted or beveled just on the edges. Similar to a Stuart Crystal in that only the edges are faceted so an image would show clearly. They have only a few cubic zirconia on the bail for an elegant look just a little sparkle. The back has none and is not faceted. You can put hair or ashes inside since the side closes securely however you could add fabric (like this silk from my aunts prom dress) or a photo even a note from a loved one. 🌟Maintenance suggestion: All metal has a museum wax coating of Renassaince Wax to preserve the shine or the patina. I recommend wearing Silver in the shower since is will polish it up every time you dry off with a towel. I sleep in silver too without any trouble but if you have a reaction with silver against your skin please refrain from wearing it longer than a few hours at a time.
Sterling Silver is known as an hypoallergenic material, which also make it soft and easy to be bent. Usually you can fix it by yourself. Please contact us if it’s a unfixable problem.
