A majestic antique Saint Esprit necklace made in France during the late 18th Century. It’s fashioned in silver and decorated with an array of clear old cut paste stones that emulate the sparkle of diamonds.

Each link displays ornate, open workmanship and leads to a Saint Esprit dropper which was a popular symbol in France in the 18th Century, depicting a bow and dove carrying an olive branch to represent the holy spirit.

It’s remained in excellent condition over the centuries and displays exquisite workmanship all round with the Riviere rock crystal Sterling silver necklace
that can be worn alone or with the pendant it’s like two in one.
It measures 18 inches in length by itself.
The paste esprit brooch or pendant measures 4.5 inches in length. it’s in excellent condition with all stones intact. They are a gorgeous combination.

🌟Maintenance suggestion: All metal has a museum wax coating of Renassaince Wax to preserve the shine or the patina. I recommend wearing Silver in the shower since is will polish it up every time you dry off with a towel. I sleep in silver too without any trouble but if you have a reaction with silver against your skin please refrain from wearing it longer than a few hours at a time.
Sterling Silver is known as an hypoallergenic material, which also make it soft and easy to be bent. Usually you can fix it by yourself. Please contact us if it’s a unfixable problem.
